Although a small space, we were able to make use of every inch for this new backyard. The owner’s wanted to create several destinations in the yard for year round use. We were able to incorporate some very custom details, using blue ceramic as a consistent material throughout, for continuity of design. We used only Calstone pavers for all of the flatwork, added tile murals for view from the interior and exterior of the home, added potted citrus, added stone veneer to 2 new and existing block walls, added a custom built Cantera stone fountain, added a BBQ island and fire table, and added a shade structure with ceiling fans. The plant choices are drought tolerant, low maintenance, and irrigated with drip.  Even with all of these additions, the backyard still feels spacious and each destination flows well to the next.
